September 6 - Wise County United Way Kick Off. Their goal is to raise $325,000 this year.

September 8 - Wichita Falls will participate in a health fair.

September 14 - STAR Council will be represented at the September FOCUS meeting at Helen Farabee MHMR.

September 22 - STAR Council will have a booth at the Health Fair in Wichita Falls on at MPEC.

September 20 - STAR Council will be represented at the Family Plus:  Kids Count Kick-Off at Wilbarger Auditorium in Vernon.

1st part of September - STAR Council will be back in our schools teaching LifeSkillds, Second Step, Toward No Drugs and Kid's Connection.

October 8-11 - Several of the Prevention Specialist will be attending the Southwest Regional Prevention Convention in Dallas.

October 23-31 - Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated with our schools.  We will help schools with their pre-existing ideas, do some activities of our own and pass out red ribbons in the communities we serve.
